Been a while...

So its been something like 4 and a half months since I have scribbled on this internet wall, and much has happened. In that time I've lost a few trials (bad cases, I guess), retaken the Bar exam, and really that is it. So I guess not much at all has happened. I guess that goes to the point I'm trying to make: its been a while since something of any real significance has happened. What the employer's insurance company likes to call a "life event".

Arguably graduating law school and getting my first real career job and taking the bar could be called a life event. But really, law school had a pretty negative effect on me, with having a law degree the only good thing (if you can call that good). I failed the bar and had to retake it, and I'm waiting on finding out how that went. Because of that, I'm an unlicensed lawyer, and therefore a bird with clipped wings. So really, I'm kind of in limbo at my job.

But hey, its March Madness, and so everything can't be terrible. My main bracket is holding up so far though its taken some hits. What kills me is that most of the upsets were games that I looked very closely at, and was on the verge of picking that upset. Damned hind sight. The key is to have faith though. It was only 2 years ago where after the first few days I was at the bottom of the standings, only to skyrocket up and win the bracket group. Though Duke is pissing me off right now. What's new?

I'm signing off now, because the rain shows no chance of subsiding and I want to go to the gym. Here's to life events happening, for you or me.
